FAQ

Have questions?

Do I need to speak Russian to study in Russia?

No. You can take a preparatory year to learn the language before starting your programme, or choose an English-taught programme where available. We also offer beginner Russian lessons before departure.

Will my degree be recognised?

Degrees are awarded by Russian state universities. Recognition in your country depends on its equivalence rules: from the first consultation, we advise you on the right programme and institution for your plans.

Which documents do I need?

Usually: passport, baccalaureate diploma and transcripts, birth certificate, medical certificate and photos. We give you the exact list for your university and handle translation and legalisation.

Where will the student live?

In a university residence or an apartment, depending on your budget and preferences. Housing is arranged before arrival.

Can parents visit the student?

Yes. We handle the parents’ tourist visa, and our partners can also meet them at the airport.

When should I start the process?

As early as possible, ideally right after the end of the school year, to allow time for translation, admission and the visa. Contact us for this year’s timeline.
